About East Coast Drain and Trenchless Sewer Repair

There are plenty of plumbing and sewer companies operating in the DC Metro area. Most of them do a little bit of everything. East Coast Drain and Trenchless Sewer Repair does one thing — trenchless — and we do it at a level that generalist contractors simply can’t match.

Trenchless Sewer Specialists — Not Generalists

East Coast Drain and Trenchless Sewer Repair is a trenchless sewer rehabilitation and drain services company serving PG County, Montgomery County, and the broader DC Metro area. We work with residential homeowners, commercial property managers, and municipal clients — handling everything from single-family sewer line rehabilitation to large-scale pipe lining contracts.

Our focus is narrow by design. Trenchless technology is a specialized field, and doing it well requires dedicated equipment, dedicated training, and the kind of accumulated hands-on experience that only comes from working exclusively in this discipline. When you call East Coast, you are not getting a general plumber who also happens to do some pipe lining on the side. You are getting a team whose entire professional identity is built around trenchless sewer repair — and the results speak for themselves.

Built on a Decade of Trenchless Experience

The foundation of East Coast Drain and Trenchless Sewer Repair is more than a decade of hands-on work in the trenchless industry. Our principal has spent over ten years working in trenchless pipe rehabilitation and sewer repair — including prior ownership of a utility contracting company where large-scale pipe bursting and sewer work were the core business.

We have completed projects ranging from single-family residential sewer line rehabilitations to large commercial and municipal contracts — including extensive pipe lining work on active institutional campuses serving thousands of residents.

The Right Tools for Every Job

One of the most important differences between a specialist trenchless contractor and a generalist is the equipment. We are fully equipped for every trenchless application we offer.

01

Inversion Drum System

Our inversion drum allows us to install CIPP liners using the inversion method — pushing the resin-saturated liner through the pipe with water or air pressure for a consistent, well-bonded installation from end to end.

02

Blue Light UV Curing System

Our UV curing system uses blue light technology to cure installed liners quickly, precisely, and consistently. UV curing produces a high-strength bond throughout the liner and allows us to complete most residential lining jobs in a single day.

03

IMS Robotic Cutter

Our IMS robotic cutter is deployed for pre-lining pipe preparation — clearing root intrusions, removing scale deposits, and preparing the pipe surface for liner adhesion. It also allows us to reinstate lateral connections after lining.

Maxliner

Our Liner Supplier — MaxLiner

We use MaxLiner fiberglass liners — one of the most trusted and widely specified liner products in the trenchless rehabilitation industry. Engineered for long-term performance, consistent curing, and structural reliability across a range of pipe types and diameters.

What We Believe

Inspect Before You Recommend

We never recommend a repair we haven't seen evidence for. Every job begins with a camera inspection, and every repair recommendation is backed by documented footage of the actual pipe condition. You will never be sold a service you don't need at East Coast Drain and Trenchless Sewer Repair.

No-Dig Is Better — Full Stop

Traditional sewer excavation tears up landscapes, breaks up driveways, disrupts properties, and leaves restoration costs that can rival the repair itself. Trenchless repair eliminates all of that. We are committed to no-dig solutions not because they are easier to sell, but because they genuinely deliver a better outcome for the homeowner — faster completion, lower total cost, and zero collateral damage to the property.

Trenchless Expertise Is Non-Negotiable

The DC Metro area is home to some of the oldest residential sewer infrastructure in the country. Cast iron pipes that have been corroding since the 1940s, vitrified clay systems approaching 100 years of service, Orangeburg pipe that has been deforming since the post-war era — these are not problems that benefit from a generalist approach. They require a contractor who understands exactly what they are dealing with.

The Homeowner Deserves Clarity

Sewer problems are stressful. Most homeowners don't have a background in pipe materials, deterioration patterns, or repair methods — and they shouldn't have to. Our job is to inspect the pipe, explain clearly what we found, present the options honestly, and let the homeowner make an informed decision. No pressure, no jargon, no unnecessary upselling.
